THESYRE: 'Exist!' Released With Pressing Error

November 23, 2006

Eric M. Syre, vocalist/bassist for Quebec-based black metallers THESYRE has posted the following update on his official blog:

"There is a pressing error on the first batch of the jewel case version of our new album [titled 'Exist!']. The manufacturing plant did an error and you get the promo version of our album on the official release... I am not sure if Osmose will correct this on the next pressing but so far all copies circulating right now suffer from the same mistake. The tracklist is as follows:

1) Exist! (32:44)
2) Radio edit of Exist! (2:40)
3) Exist! (32:44)

"I guess its OK for people who want to listen to the album in repeat mode and whose troglodytic CD players are not equipped qith a repeat function...

"We'll also have new round, red and black stickers as well as buttons available soon. They'll be added for free with any order done through Ascent Records or they can be ordered separately for a minimal fee."

THESYRE's second full-length album, "Duality", was issued last year via Selbstmord Records from Sweden.
